  2. Summer Fields is a fee-paying boys' independent day and boarding preparatory school in Summertown, Oxford. It was originally called Summerfield and used to have a subsidiary school, Summerfields, St Leonards-on-Sea (known as "Summers mi").

  3. Summer Fields School is a summer school campus in Oxford with sports, arts and academic programs. It offers a healthy mind and body approach with facilities such as indoor and outdoor pools, sports courts, theatre and golf course.

  4. The 2022 Summer Experience takes place June 21 - July 28, and it’s FREE to all Pre-K through 12 Columbus City Schools students. More than 8,000 students took part in last year’s Summer Experience, and we’re excited to provide CCS students and families with six weeks of exciting school and community-based learning experiences.

    • Ohio Canid Center. About: The Ohio Canid Center is, hands down, one of the coolest things in central Ohio. In fairytales, wolves and other wild canids get a pretty bad rep.
    • COSI. About: COSI is a classic Columbus experience. From hands-on experiments to special events, COSI has been entertaining and educating kids for decades with a planetarium, a theatre, and a variety of exhibits.
    • Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. About: Since 1927, the Columbus Zoo has been educating visitors from around the world about animals. With a message focused on conservation, a trip to the zoo and aquarium is a great way to learn about what we as humans can do to protect the world around us.
    • Orton Geological Museum at The Ohio State University. About: It doesn’t matter how old I get, I’ll never stop believing that dinosaurs are the coolest creatures that have ever roamed the planet.

  6. School Field Trips. Located on the west bank of the Scioto River at Griggs Reservoir, the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department offers environmental education and outdoor skills programs at the McKnight Outdoor Education Center.
