Mar 15, 2022 · Early plans for the creation of a new Liberton High School are to be put to the local community later this year. The site on Gilmerton Road is set to be redeveloped as a 'community campus' complete with a new doctor's surgery and state-of-the-art sports facilities.
Mar 2, 2023 · Proposals for a replacement Liberton High School have taken a major step forward after the planning application for the new school was approved yesterday (Wednesday 1 March 2023). The plans for the school, which will have capacity for 1,200 pupils, were approved by Councillors on the Development Management Sub-Committee.
