Singapore Chinese Girls' School (SCGS) is an independent girls' school in Bukit Timah, Singapore, located opposite Stevens MRT station. Founded in 1899, it is one of the oldest institutions in Singapore.
Singapore Chinese Girls’ School is a dual-track school offering: the 4-year Singapore-Cambridge Secondary Education Certificate (SEC, also formerly known as GCE O-Level) Programme, and. the 6-year Integrated Programme (IP) in partnership with Eunoia Junior College.

Singapore Chinese Girls’ School (SCGS) was established on 1 July 1899, with an English lady teaching seven Peranakan girls in a cramped Hill Street house with a leaky roof. Thus began the first girls’ school in Singapore opened by the local community.
