Ben Joseph Green FRS (born 27 February 1977) is a British mathematician, specialising in combinatorics and number theory. He is the Waynflete Professor of Pure Mathematics at the University of Oxford.
I am the Waynflete Professor of Pure Mathematics at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of Magdalen College. A CV and Publication List are available. Much of my mathematical work has been in the area now known as additive combinatorics.
I am interested in several areas of pure mathematics. Much of my research lies at the interface of analysis, discrete mathematics and number theory, a particular interest being the application of the first two subjects to the third. I have also worked on topics in group theory and discrete geometry.

Introduction to number theory (8 lectures). These are notes for ASO Number Theory at Oxford, which I have lectured three times. This is a first course in number theory, with topics including modular arithmetic, primitive roots, quadratic reciprocity and primality testing. Algebraic Number Theory (16 lectures).
