  1. Robert Michael Rich (born 1957) is an American astrophysicist. He obtained his B.A. at Pomona College in 1979 and earned his Ph.D. from the California Institute of Technology in 1986 under thesis supervisor Jeremy R. Mould.

  2. Research Astronomer, UCLA 1998-present. Research Interest. I work on the subject of "Galactic archeology" - the ages, chemistry, kinematics, and structure of stellar populations at the present epoch (the "fossil record") as a constraint and primary source of information on theories of galaxy formation and evolution.
