At the dawn of the 20th century, a band of adventurers go on an expedition to prove the existence of a lost prehistoric world in the Amazon, isolated from the modern civilization. Soon, they find themselves trapped in this dangerous land, with only the help of a young wild woman.
With the support of a mysterious funder, Professor George Challenger assembles a team to go after evidence to prove that prehistoric creatures are still alive. On their journey they encounter harsh weather, exotic flowers, violent natives, and all kinds of formidable creatures old and new.
