Disney+ announced today at the Canneseries Festival press conference in France, the highly anticipated 6-episode Original drama series “Becoming Karl Lagerfeld” (previously “Kaiser Karl”), produced by Gaumont and Jour Premier, will premiere all episodes on June 7, 2024, exclusively on Disney+ internationally and on Hulu in the U.S.
“Becoming Karl Lagerfeld” is adapted from Raphaëlle Bacqué’s “Kaiser Karl,” a posthumous biography released the year after Lagerfeld’s death, at 85, in 2019.
