Anna and Markus Voss own a financially struggling vineyard. Robert, one of three brothers, also owns one third of a family business which could solve their problems. However, his brother refuses to let Robert have the money he's entitled to.
Markus and Anna Voss' small winery is on the verge of ruin. In order to preserve his life's work, Markus asks his half-brother Paul to pay him the dividend from his family's large corporation. But when Paul refuses, Markus suffers a heart attack.
