Sindhu Rajasekaran, India. Tell us a little bit about yourself... I was born in Madras, India. I’ve lived in various cities and countries over the years. Called Vancouver, Edinburgh, Delhi and Bombay home in the past, before moving here to Glasgow. So I’m something of a nomad.
Adopting a queer-feminist lens that inherently resists disciplining frameworks, and by employing transformational creative-research methods, I seek to decolonize notions of subaltern sexuality. Through my creative work, I hope to reimagine queer brown women against a history of shame and invisibility.

Sindhu Rajasekaran was born in Madras, India. Trained as an engineer, she became a writer and obtained a master's in creative writing from the University of Edinburgh. Her debut novel Kaleidoscopic Reflections was nominated for the Crossword Book Award in 2011.
