Community Chests, commonly referred to as community trusts, community foundations and united way organizations, are endowment funds pooled from a community for the purpose of charitable giving. The first Community Chest, "Community Fund", was founded in 1913 in Cleveland, Ohio, by the Federation for Charity and Philanthropy.
As one of Hong Kong’s most trusted charities, the Chest proactively addresses imminent needs in society through high quality, innovative and effective social services. Each year, we serve more than 2.5 million beneficiaries in Hong Kong.
All monthly donations will go towards the SHARE programme to provide sustained support for the critical social services supported by Community Chest.

The funds supported the community, including Community Chest’s five causes - children with special needs and youth-at-risk, adults with disabilities, persons with mental health conditions, seniors and families in need - as well as social service agencies and individuals affected by the pandemic.
