How It Works. This is a typical flow for accessing the Pages API: Get a User Access Token from the app User through Facebook Login. Query the /me/accounts endpoint to get the ID and Page Access Token of the Page the app User has permitted your app to access. Capture the returned Page ID and Page Access Token.
Page access tokens are used in Graph API calls to manage Facebook Pages. To generate a page access token, an admin of the page must grant your app the Page permission or permissions needed. Once granted, you can retrieve the Page access token using a user access token with the required permissions.
