May 29, 2020 · DisplayLink - Poor performance with any docking station. I've recently purchased the Plugable UD-ULTCDL docking station and found that I am consistently seeing stuttering/lagging/freezing lasting approximately 1 second and then performance returns to normal. This consistently occurs when writing e-mails, documents or opening/closing windows.

Feb 19, 2019 · The internal circuitry of the Dell D6000 means that for DisplayLink, everything is DisplayPort (Dell has DisplayPort to HDMI converter to drive the HDMI output from either DisplayLink or DisplayPort over USB-C). From a driver point of view, having a DisplayPort or HDMI is not different. I think the dock USB-C controller is playing up here.
Jun 17, 2021 · The no monitor detected typically implies that the adapter being used does not use the Displaylink chipsets. The endorsed products are present here but typically you will see the "DisplayLink" logo on endorsed adapters. It would appear you are potentially using a standard non-DisplayLink USB adapter. tomminy is correct.
