  2. Jim Brown is Slightly Overrated. This may appear like I'm trying to bait karma or throw shit at the one of the all-time greats, but I think this is something worthy of discussion. First, I think it's only fair to make the case for Jim Brown being the best runningback ever before I call his legacy into question.

  3. Mar 1, 2018 · Jim Brown did it an adjusted 6 of his 9 years (and came extremely close in 1960). Barry Sanders only did it twice. Walter Payton, in 14 seasons, did it 4 times. 7. Oct 24, 2014 · Jim Brown wouldn't be the size of linebackers like he was in the 60s but he would still be one of the biggest backs and fastest backs in the league. There isn't a time in the history of the NFL Jim Brown wouldn't be the best player. One of the few transcendent talents.

  8. May 19, 2023 · Jim Brown was a unique figure. There are a handful of freak athletes in every generation, and a handful of people who can just look at sporting and athletic endeavors and completely understand them. He was the rare guy who had both talents... one of the best players of his era and someone who could watch a sport, dissect how it is played, and understand what is happening lightning fast.

  9. May 22, 2015 · Brown had the highest yards per carrier in a year and had basically every RB record when he retired. Brow is RB number 1 or 2 all time. Sanders is closer to 4 or 5. It is easy to have a lot of yards lost when you are met by defenders the second the ball is in your hands.

  10. May 19, 2023 · karlhungusx. •. He was banned from the playboy mansion which seems impossible back in the 70s. He would show up almost exclusively to beat women that weren’t going to press charges. This wasn’t the heat of the moment type of abuse, Jim Brown was a serial abuser.
