Same. I work in a nursing home and I simply hate watching nurses and my co workers getting stuck simply because others don't want to work Christmas. You choose to work in healthcare. I know I will work extra tomorrow simply because of this. I work because I actually care about my residents.
I hate Christmas. I hate the obligation, fake smiles, stupid decorations, financial expectations and struggle. I think it's fucking bullshit full of bullshit expectations and bullshit people. It brings more bad than good.
I know this is an old post but I just binged I hate Christmas and about 3 episodes in, I remembered Home for Christmas, and the show had the same plot. I hate Christmas’ lead was a little irritating imo. But the second season was nice and I enjoyed the outcome of it all. Home for Christmas is definitely a more cozy vibe.

I hate the ridiculous spending, I hate the whole pageantry that goes along with everyone opening gifts, I hate the obligatory overeating. I hate listening to Christmas music everywhere for weeks on end. I f*ing hate that Manheim Steamroller album.

I hate having to figure out what to get everyone, buying and wrapping the gifts, decorating the house, and cleaning up the extra messes that are made from all of this nonsense. Every year it just gets worse, and my hate for this time of year grows.

As a vegan, atheist who is estranged from most of my family and hardly see the others the typical Christmas portrayed in the ads and those awful Christmas films, I can't relate to.

Every year Christmas puts us tight on money, it’s nothing but stress for me. I don’t enjoy it at all. I don’t care about gifts, I don’t care about visiting extended family, all this shit sucks!
I hate this commercial because it’s not even a parody of the song it’s trying to be. Like, it almost gets the melody right but not quite. Whoever wrote the lyrics to this clearly just threw it together and tried to make it fit carol of the bells based on memory and not actually listening to the song first.
