Friend of mine tried to get out of jury duty by waltzing in and saying, "Okay, let's convict this scum," while they jury pool was being brought into the courtroom. When jury duty starts, you're required to be at court from 930-4 every weekday and early 2PM finish on Fridays. Court starts at 10, morning tea at 11:30-12, lunch at 1-2PM, afternoon tea 3-3:15. It's designed so that the longest time you sit for is 90minutes and that's in the morning when you're fresh.
