The City of Lake Forest offers a wide variety of natural amenities which include 30 neighborhood and community parks. These include Heritage Hill Historic Park, the Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park, Lake Forest Golf and Practice Center, and the Serrano Creek and Aliso Creek Trails along with numerous other hiking, biking and equestrian trails.
The community currently includes 541 single-family homes, 65 senior affordable apartment units, seven parks open for public use, a residents’ pool/recreation complex, a trail parallel to the Serrano Creek Trail open for public use, and a habitat restoration area. 1.
