Sep 2, 2020 · We want to upgrade this Web Application to make it run on EDGE. as ActiveX control is no longer an option, Is there a way/any different control equivalent to ActiveX, which I can leverage on to add it as an addOn in the EDGE browser, so the users can open/edit word documents. May 1, 2023 · However, if Edge did close like it should, and you wish to re-open the tabs from the previous session, the one way to do this is via History. Pres Ctrl + H together to bring up your history. You will see your history appear along with three tabs (All, recently closed, tabs from other devices).

Oct 16, 2023 · To disable third-party ad-blocking extensions: Click on three horizontal dots at top right corner of Edge browser. Go to Extensions. From here you can either toggle off your ad-blocker extension or click 'Remove' button to remove it entirely. Please feel free to let me know if you have any further updates, thanks.

like the old Edge the new edge chromium has very limited (built in) options for the new tab. however there are extensions available that will allow you to change the URL of the new tab page. this extension will set the new tab page to Google.com
Dec 13, 2022 · As a workaround, you may try to open Edge then click 3 dots. Click Settings. Under More profiles, select the work profile > click Switch. Once done, right click the edge icon on the taskbar then select Pin to taskbar. To open the work profile, click the recently pinned Edge icon on the taskbar.
