Join us for Stratford's Ultimate Canada Day celebration. Our festival will feature family-friendly programming, entertainment and activities in Market Square at City Hall. The City of Stratford Canada Day Community celebration will take place on July 1, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Stratford’s Market Square.
The City of Stratford owns and operates affordable housing units on Britannia Street in Stratford. A second building is currently under construction at the same location. The rental rates for these 1- and 2-bedroom units are 80% of the average market rent (AMR) for comparable units in Stratford.
Stratford Transit Charters provides a safe, affordable and reliable in-town transportation service to destinations throughout Stratford for large groups. Buses can accommodate up to 37 people. The rate is $85 per hour, plus taxes.
The standard parking rate at on-street parking spaces is $1.50/hr and the rate in lots is $1.25/hr. In an effort to make parking as simple and convenient as possible, the City of Stratford has added another option for motorists to pay for parking downtown.

The City of Stratford offers curbside collection for blue box recyclables. Trucks begin collecting at 8 a.m. on your scheduled biweekly recycling day so please have all items to the curb by then.
