Yen Tan (born March 12, 1975) is a Malaysian-born American [1] independent film producer and director. Tan emigrated from Malaysia at the age of 19 and is based in Dallas, Texas. [2] He is known for award-winning films Happy Birthday (2002) and Deadroom (2005).
Ms Yen Tan has served as Chief Operating Office of Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) since 2012. Prior to this appointment, she was Director of Operations at KTPH and Alexandra Hospital. A member of the early leadership team, Ms Tan joined Alexandra Hospital in 2000 and played a key role in its restructuring process.
