Nov 2, 2016 · The default browser was opening during startup and going to MSN page. What ever browser I set as my default browser (Chrome, Edge or Internet Explorer) was opening when I started the computer and going directly to MSN page. It was not going to the default page set for the browser. I have blank page set as the default.

Nov 11, 2019 · Since yesterday whenever I turn on my PC Google Chrome (which is my default brower) automatically opens a MSN web page. This is very annoying as I don't always want chrome to open, and I do not want to see the MSN website. Does anyone know how to stop this happening? I don't think its a virus as I've scanned to check. Since you mentioned " I am having to keep on refreshing the home web-screen to view the usual screen ", there may be something wrong with the network. To verify this is true or not, I suggest you try again in another network, and see if there will be any difference.

Go to www.msn.com. it will ask you whether you want to go for your local msn site (eg: MSN India) or you want to stay at the US Site (eg:MSN USA). Select that you wish to go for MSN USA always.
