While SMU student email accounts were moved to our Microsoft 365 cloud service back in 2015, it is now time to finally move the rest of our accounts to the cloud. Blog.SMU. SMU uses WordPress for its blogging platform and is available at blog.smu.edu. Traditionally, blogs display content in reverse chronological order and remain fixed after publishing. This content can include traditional blogs, news sites, notification systems, etc., or replace static HTML pages.
In 2016, SMU received over 504 million e-mails. Out of all of those e-mails, only 2.8% of them were legitimate messages that actually made it to inboxes. The rest were all junk, including messages with viruses, marketing materials, and other messages from addresses with bad reputations.

OIT has created a new My Profile page, myprofile.SMU, where you can look up and verify your NetID. Our existing SSO service also supports your NetID, so we encourage everyone to begin logging in everywhere at SMU with your NetID today!
