Some farms are larger and have a mixture of fruits and cafes to try the fruits in new ways, while some even have fruit-guides and cooking classes!

Nagano prefecture is the second largest production district of apples and grapes in Japan (the first is Aomori in Tohoku for apples and Yamanashi, the neighboring prefecture, for grapes).
Mar 2, 2021 · Grapes: mid-August to mid-October. Apples: late-September to mid-November. For visitors wanting to enjoy fruit-picking in Nagano, we recommend heading to the Azumino region, just outside of Matsumoto City and readily accessible on public transport.
Grape picking: Adults 650 - 3240, Children elementary age or younger 350 - 1620. Peach picking: Adults 650, Children elementary age or younger 350. To pick and take with you, grapes from 800 per kg, Apples from 400 per kg, Peaches from 600 per kg.
