Antony's Birthday is the Sixth episode of series two of The Royle Family. Plot. In the Royle household, Jim is watching the telly while Barbara is rushing round getting everything ready for the party. The doorbell rings and Twiggy comes in and gives Barbara the ring for Antony's birthday to wrap up.

Antony James Royle is the tetartagonist of the royle family he is the son of Jim and Barbara Royle. He is married to Saskia Royle, with whom he has a child. He also has a son, Lewis Royle, from his previous relationship with Emma Kavanagh. Denise Best is his sister, and through her, he has a nephew, David Best and a niece, Norma Best. He is the bro...
Antony is the usually laid-back, apparently lazy-arse son of Barbara and Jim, who make him do everything from making the tea to answering the door. Jim calls him a lazy git while he sits there and Antony makes the tea. When Antony leaves home, Jim expects Barbara to do all of Antony's "chores."
Anthony is applied as a dumb "doesn't-know-nothing" childish teenager, although he gets angry when he is made to do things once he has just sat down, and argues, demanding why Denise doesn't have to do anything.
He appears in shaggy clothes during Series 1 and dyes his hair blonde during Series 2 but dyes it back. He wears more formal suits in the specials when he has a big job.
During Series 2 Anthony has a girlfriend called Emma. The couple have a child in 2001, Lewis, but split up soon afterwards. He then has a girlfriend called Saskia during "The Golden Egg Cup" and proposes to her during "Joe's Crackers" while she is heavily pregnant.
•In Bills, Bills, Bills, Anthony is said to be 15 years old. This would mean that he was born in 1982 or 1983.
