After a wait of several months, the popular Geylang Claypot Rice has moved from a humble coffeeshop, and reopened to a modern swanky shop with 3 shop spaces. And oh, AIRCON.
Served with ingredients such as succulent chicken chunks, sausages, and fragrant salted fish, the claypot rice ($36 for large) from Geylang Claypot Rice was smoky, toothsome and tasty. While I had better marinated chicken elsewhere, I find the dark sauce here particularly good.
