Nov 21, 2013 · OpenNet, CityNet, NetLink Trust and SingTel (the "Applicants") submitted a Consolidation Application on 22 August 2013. CityNet, as Trustee-Manager (TM) of the NetLink Trust, will acquire 100% of the issued and paid-up capital in OpenNet. This acquisition will take place in two phases.
In its proposal to the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA), OpenNet will leverage Singtel’s existing high-quality network of underground ducts to deploy an ultra-fast broadband network at least two and a half years ahead of schedule of the government’s iN2015 vision.
