Rue Bonaparte is a street in the 6th arrondissement of Paris. It spans the Quai Voltaire /Quai Malaquais to the Jardin du Luxembourg, crossing the Place Saint-Germain-des-Prés and the place Saint-Sulpice and has housed many of France's most famous names and institutions as well as other well-known figures from abroad.
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares.

The rue Bonaparte is a great street in Paris for visitors to use. With a little bit of hedging it connects the Luxembourg Gardens to the Tuileries by way of the Pont des Arts and the Louvre. After exploring the Luxembourg Gardens you can pick up the rue Bonaparte by exiting at the bottom left as you face the Seine.
