    Main Article: Series 10 Auditions The auditionsfor Series 10 were filmed between January and February 2016 in Liverpool, Birmingham and London. Seven episodes of auditions were aired between the 9th April and the 21st May.

    Each night over 5 consecutive nights, 9 acts performed. Each night, 2 acts advanced to the finals with the first being the winner of the public vote and the second being chosen by the judges between the following 2 acts that placed in 2nd and 3rd in the vote.

    At the end of the last Semi-Final, the 5 acts that reached the Top 3 but failed to advance to the final were entered into a public vote to compete for one of the Wildcard Spots. The act with the most votes was reinstated into the competition as a finalist along with the Wildcard actchosen by the judges.
