YU START. In order to ensure that students feel supported and ready as they make their way into and through their first year, York University has developed an award winning online New Student Transition Program called YU START!
You’ll need to use your PPY to login to YU START and access the platform’s resources. If you have done all these things and still can not get in, then send an email to yustrprb@yorku.ca to explain your issue and be sure to include your student number as well as a screen shot of what you’re seeing.

YU START is a New Student Transition Program designed to support incoming first-year students, leading up to your program start. You'll learn how to enroll in courses and connect with classmates, student leaders, faculty and student services staff.
We offer a host of opportunities for students and their parents and families to get to know the university and learn about key resources before beginning classes. There are a mix of virtual and in-person options. Most events are offered multiple times throughout the summer. Check out the schedule.
