Cold Pursuit was filmed digitally using both Arri Alexa Mini and Arri Alexa SXT cameras, with a resolution of 3.4K and finished as a 4K Digital Intermediate (DI), which formed the basis for this Ultra HD Blu-ray release. The disc presents a native 3840 x 2160p image in widescreen 2.39:1 aspect ratio.
Cold Pursuit is without a doubt a very odd film but in a good way. It’s difficult to put your finger on it, but there’s something just odd about it. Its main character is Neeson’s Nels, who is absent for lengthy stretches of time and given hardly any backstory, a bit odd for a character who we’re supposed to sympathise with, right?

Yes you can hear them when cranked up but no worse than you would with a set of conventional speakers at the same volume! I've had a few early morning xbox sessions and not woke the wife up.
