John Alberto Leguizamo Peláez (/ ˌ l ɛ ɡ w ɪ ˈ z ɑː m oʊ /, LEG-wih-ZAH-moh; Colombian Spanish: [leɣiˈsamo]; born July 22, 1960 or 1964 [note 1]) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and film producer.
John Leguizamo is a versatile and influential Latino performer who has appeared in films such as Moulin Rouge!, Spawn and Ice Age. He voiced Sid, the grumpy sloth, in the animated Ice Age franchise and won a Primetime Emmy for his one-man show Freak.
