Maldon (/ ˈ m ɔː l d ən /, locally / ˈ m ɒ l d ən /) is a town and civil parish on the Blackwater estuary in Essex, England. It is the seat of the Maldon District and starting point of the Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation. It is known for Maldon Sea Salt which is produced in the area.

- Boat Trip on Thames Barge. Once you reach the quay you’ll discover the Thames Barges immediately. They line the quay in a fascinating fashion, dominating the edge of the water.
- Fun at Promenade Park. The Prom (as we like to call it) opened in 1895 and is a beautiful park right down by the Hythe. It’s the perfect place for summer fun, picnics and dog walking.
- Crabbing at the Prom. Have you ever tried crabbing? A fun pastime from my youth and a truly British tradition. Crabbing is where you use a piece of string to catch crabs.
