Rob Simonsen is an American composer and conductor who has scored films such as 500 Days of Summer, The Age of Adaline, and Love, Simon. He also collaborates with directors Marc Webb, Jason Reitman, and Shawn Levy, and released his first solo album Rêveries in 2019.
Sony Masterworks. In 2016, Simonsen flew from Los Angeles to Paris to work on Hugo Gélin’s film Demain Tout Commence. It was Simonsen’s first time recording in Paris, and the engineers’ evident love for vintage analogue gear and microphones proved crucial.
