Mar 15, 2023 · How can I remove Bing from the start menu's search functionality? Everyone hates Bing, nobody wants this here, but there is no setting in windows options to remove Bing from the start menu (even after disabling Bing from Search toolbar, browser, etc.) the Bing Chat buttons still remain in the start menu's search functionality right at the top.
Note: Some of those are non-Microsoft websites. The pages appear to be providing accurate, safe information. Watch out for ads on the site that may advertise products frequently classified as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products).

On Bing I have searched for symptoms, like dizziness and itchiness, etc, and diseases including leprosy to green monkey disease, plus, "Symptoms of Covid", etc. I never get it to complete, be ticked off, and give me the points! Broken or requires a very specific phrase. NB: I think this is a UK-only problem.
Nov 10, 2023 · Yes, it did work in Chrome but it wasn't a browser problem (after all, Chrome and Edge use the same engine). Since deleting all the cookies solved the problem I can only assume that one of Bings cookies got corrupted. Whether that would also manifest on a Chrome browser is anyone's guess. Jen__L. Only workaround for now is uninstalling the app via settings > apps > installed apps by searching for 'Bing' and then reinstalling from the Microsoft store searching for 'web search'. That worked for me. Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site.
Mar 6, 2023 · As far as I know, there is no option yet that allows users to change Bing results page to dark mode. However, you can use the flag that enables the dark mode on websites as a work-around. To do this, type “edge://flags” into Edge’s address bar and press Enter. At the top of the Experiments page, search for “Dark Mode”.
