Run by a single chef who buys all the ingredients he needs fresh at the market then cooks an entire 5 (can’t remember for sure) course meal pretty much next to you. Jun 20, 2022 · Leaving for Paris from Washington, DC, USA in nine days and I'm very excited! Anybody have good packing suggestions? Beyond clothing (though, I welcome any advice for clothing given the Paris heat), I'm also thinking charging cable adapters, toiletries, etc. I've gotten three doses of my COVID vaccine, so I will be sure to pack my vaccination card.

To me, Paris is both grimy and beautiful. It takes pride in itself but in some areas it’s a shithole. If you’re wondering if this grit is a turn off, no. I’m going for the third time in Sept and can’t wait. The food, atmosphere and architecture far outweigh its bad parts imo. 8.
Aug 27, 2023 · No, it's not worth it. Great hotel rooms in top hotels can be had for far less. 30k is too much, but going to a 5-star hotel in Paris is great. But it's true that I find it hard to know where he'd like to go for 30k/10 days, knowing that normally he shouldn't be going for more than 20k.
