Things to do at Starnberger See. Bavaria's second largest lake is one of Munich's favourite destinations. Some Munich residents stay overnight at one of the beautiful campsites or in a hotel with a lake view. For sports fans, Lake Starnberg is ideal for swimming, sailing or rowing.
Such a beautiful lake in the south of Germany. I'll admit that it can get very busy sometimes, especially on nice days during the summer. But the lake itself it lovely to walk around in areas like Starnberg, Percha, Tutzing and Feldafing. Swimming here isn't the best as the water is very cold, and in some parts there's a lot of seaweed.
