First lesson I got to do a line of tempis but was lucky to have been put on a horse that was capable of them and was also very quiet and obedient (and tolerant!). You do have to show that you are a capable rider to be put on the more advanced horses.

  5. Dec 19, 2005 · schoolmaster means a well schooled horse who responds to the correct aids but not to incorrect ones so teaching a rider what buttons to press. A schoolmaster is not necessarily a saint and often isn't but when told correctly what to do will do so prety much every time without question. So to me your '2'.

We have bought Thistledown Firebird [Phoenix] from lovely people in Norfolk.He is an 8 year old dun gelding welsh sec B. My grand daughter was so nervous at first and I had to lead her round [on her 11 hand at home she is happy to canter and jump by herself].

Mar 16, 2006 · I used to have lessons on his horses and on my own horse - knocked my dressage penalties down by 8-10 through lessons with him (I event - went from 38-40 to 28-high 30s scores - most importantly was rarely out of the top 5 this season after the dressage, and even led it a couple of times!) 11 January 2012.
