Jul 29, 2024 · Sainz is the first multiple Grand Prix winner that Williams have hired since Felipe Massa. The first winner since Kubica too but post-accident Kubica wasn’t exactly a stellar signing. I’m pleased for the team that they’ve now got a really strong and serious lineup.

Sep 15, 2024 · Carlos went straight and was put on the wall. Based on the helicam, Perez moves slightly the the left, not to the right (look at the lines on the road) but Sainz moves more the left which causes the collision. Slam dunk penalty for Sainz in my opinion. I honestly can’t see how someone would blame Perez for this, it was all on Sainz.
