It is not a narcotic (opioid), but is used to treat various types of nerve pain (diabetic neuropathy, herpes zoster), as well as epilepsy, fibromyalgia and spinal cord injury.
LYRICA is available in doses ranging from 25 mg to 300 mg and as a 20 mg/mL oral solution. LYRICA CR is available in doses ranging from 82.5 mg to 330 mg. INDICATIONS. LYRICA is indicated to treat fibromyalgia, diabetic nerve pain, spinal cord injury nerve pain, and pain after shingles in adult patients.
