Spreetshoogte Pass (Afrikaans: Spreetshoogtepas, literally English: Spreeth's Peak Pass) is a mountain pass in central Namibia, connecting the Namib Desert with the Khomas Highland by traversing the Great Escarpment, a geological feature of much of the southern part of the African continent.
If you're going from Windhoek to Solitaire, for instance, in the way to Sossusvlei, a nice option is to enter the C24/M47 after Rehoboth, and then take D1261 and D1275 to reach Spreetshoogte Pass. This is a beautiful mountain pass, where there is a parking place from which you can take a breathtaking view of the landscape.

Spreetshoogte Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1,822m (5,977ft) above sea level, located in the Khomas region of Namibia. It’s one of the highest roads in the country.
Spreetshoogte Pass is a place to pause and enjoy the view while driving district road D1275 southeast of Windhoek. It’s a popular spot for picnicking, as the pass is a convenient stopping place on a steep, rugged route at the cusp of the Great Escarpment.
