The Facebook Pages API from Meta allows apps to access and update a Facebook Page's settings and content, create and get Posts, get Comments on Page owned content, get Page insights, update actions that Users are able to perform on a Page, and much more.
Facebook Login with the Facebook SDK for JavaScript enables people to sign into your web page with their Facebook credentials.
You can get access tokens from your app Users by implementing Facebook Login. For Pages that have been migrated to the New Page Experience, a Page access token is now required for all available endpoints with the follwing exceptions: /{user-id}/accounts. /pages/search. /{user-id}/likes. /{page-id}
The Get Started with the Facebook Pages API Guide explains how to successfully call the Pages API to post to your Page.
Whether someone is not logged into your app or not logged into Facebook, you can use the Login dialog to prompt them to do both. If they aren't logged into Facebook, they'll be prompted to login and then move onto logging into your app.
Once someone has clicked the Login button, and accepted the login dialog — completing the Login flow — your app can now use the Facebook SDK for JavaScript to make API calls on behalf of that person.
