Ai Tong School started in 1912. In 1950, it opened its door to girls. In 1985, Ai Tong School became an English stream school and it was conferred the status of a Special Assistance Plan (SAP) school in 1989. Over the past two decades, the school flourished in multiple areas.

Ai Tong School ( simplified Chinese: 爱同学校; traditional Chinese: 愛同學校; pinyin: Àitóng xuéxiào) is a primary school located in Bishan, Singapore. It is one of the five affiliated primary schools under the Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan. As a Chinese-medium school, Ai Tong emphasises strongly on the learning of Chinese culture, language and values.
Ai Tong School became a government-aided school in 1957, and in 1980, it became an integrated school. The new building at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3 was officially opened in October 1981. Ai Tong became a Special Assistance Plan school in 1989.
Ai Tong School ( ATS) was founded in 1912 and has accepted girls since 1950. In 1985, Ai Tong became a bilingual school with English and Chinese. In 1989, Ai Tong was selected as a special school so that students could take both Chinese and English as their first language.
