Sheng Siong is a chain of supermarkets in Singapore founded by Mr Lim Hock Chee and his two brothers, Mr Lim Hock Eng and Mr Lim Hock Leng. Mr Lim Hock Chee is also the current CEO of Sheng Siong. The Lim family moved to another farm in Punggol in the 1970s.
Lim Hock Chee (born 1961) is the chief executive officer and director of supermarket company Sheng Siong Group. A pioneer of the grocery retailing industry in Singapore, Lim Hock Chee was conferred the Public Service Medal and the Public Service Star in 2006 and 2014 respectively for his contributions to Singapore’s economy.
