Prison on Fire – Life Sentence is a 2001 Hong Kong crime thriller film directed by Edmond Yuen and starring Ben Wong, Iris Wong, Tommy Wong, William Ho, Lee Wai-kei, Chapman To and Bill Lung. Despite the title, this film is not related to the 1987 film Prison on Fire and its 1991 sequel.

Prison on Fire is a 1987 Hong Kong prison film directed by Ringo Lam and starring Chow Yun-fat and Tony Leung Ka-fai. Yiu (Tony Leung Ka Fai) is a young advertising executive in Hong Kong. One night, defending his father from attack, he accidentally shoves a street thug in front of a bus.
Ka-Kui Ho was born on 14 March 1951 in Kowloon City, Hong Kong, British Crown Colony. He was an actor and assistant director, known for Prison on Fire (1987), Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky (1991) and Cheung nui cheung ngoi (1979). He died on 27 January 2015 in Hong Kong.

William Ho Ka-kui, as two-timing Mickey, also played supporting roles in the other “Fire” films, and later played demonic prison warden Sugiyama in the legendary over-the-top 1991 splatterfest Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky.
