Nora Cabaltera Villamayor (born May 21, 1953), known professionally as Nora Aunor (Tagalog pronunciation:), is a Filipino actress, recording artist, and film producer. Aunor has also appeared in several stage plays, television shows and concerts.
Aunor was winner of the 2012 Asia Pacific Screen Award and Asian Film Award for Best Performance by an Actress for Brillante Ma. Mendoza’s Thy Womb (2012). The film Himala (1982) in which she starred, was awarded the CNN APSA Viewer’s Choice Award for Best Asia Pacific Film of all Time in 2008.
