We experience an old boat, smelly and just comfortable on our way to Batam, and modern, nice and clean ferry for the return. Obviously the latter delivered a much more enjoyable cruise. Service was okay from the ticket office to boarding.

Nov 26, 2023 · Negative stars - we took a ferry from Tanah merah to Desaru. The poor weather contingency is a short ferry ride to Tanjung pengelih, then a bus from Tanjung pengelih to Desaru. The bus was unable to fit the passengers and we waited for 3 hours as staff from another ferry company attempted to organise taxis and rides for passengers.
Feb 11, 2024 · I have been using Batam Fast ferries for over 4 years as we regularly visit Batam Island. We had tried other ferry companies but now only use Batam Fast as we found all their staff to be professional, friendly and helpful. There ferry services have always been on time and the ride comfortable.
