Kimi-Matias Räikkönen (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈkimi ˈmɑtiɑs ˈræi̯kːønen]; born 17 October 1979), nicknamed "The Iceman", is a Finnish racing driver who competed in Formula One between 2001 and 2021 for Sauber, McLaren, Ferrari, Lotus, and Alfa Romeo.

Kimi Matias Räikkönen was born in Finland, on 17 October 1979 His career started at the age of 10 when he successfully raced karts, and in 1998 won the Nordic Karting Championship. He went on to compete in the Formula Ford Euro Cup and came second in the European Formula Super A Championship.
