Jan 16, 2023 · German insurer Munich Re will relocate its staff in Singapore to a brand new office in late 2023 with a focus on a hybrid working approach. Munich Re will move its Singapore office to 18 Cross Street by the fourth quarter of 2023, according to a statement.

Jun 30, 2022 · Global reinsurer Munich Re has appointed Tobias Frenz as the new CEO of its Singapore office. According to the firm, Frenz will be responsible for overseeing Munich Re’s Non-Life and Life & Health Branch in its Singapore regional centre as well as its Life & Health Digital Solutions business in the region.
The regional centre in Singapore will in future serve clients from Southeast Asia and support Munich Re's reinsurance activities in India, Japan and Korea. The Tokyo office will be expanded in order to play a greater role in property-casualty business in Japan.
