Additional parking are available at Nassim Entrance via Evans/Cluny Road or Tanglin Entrance via Holland/Cluny Road junction. Since 1859, orchids have been closely associated with the Gardens. The products of the Gardens' orchid breeding programme, which began in 1928, deserve a place where they can be displayed in their full splendour.
To get to the gardens, you can either take a taxi, bus or train. By train, get off at the Botanic Gardens Station which and walk about 20-minutes to the gardens. If you are taking the bus, catch either the 7, 75, 77, 105, 106, 123 or 174 and alight along Napier Road. The National Orchid Garden is about a 15-minute walk from Tanglin Gate.
The Gardens is free entry for everyone and we are open daily 5am to 12mn, even on Public Holidays. Our only ticketed attraction is the National Orchid Garden, where you may purchase tickets at its entrance.
