It is still a tethered jailbreak and the process is mostly the same as before, except users no longer have to point the redsn0w application at older 5.0 IPSW. Supported hardware continues to be iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 1, iPod touch 3rd or 4th gen.
