Overview. Driving love for sport. Singapore prides herself in being a melting pot of cultures - food, traditions, and even sports. The history of sport in Singapore can trace as far back as the 19th century when settlers from abroad brought their nations’ sports to our shores.
Vision 2030 began with this question: “How can Sport best serve Singapore in the coming decades?”. In our quest to discover the answer to this, we met with more than 500 people for face to face discussions, and obtained the views of another 60,000 through online means.
The Sports Education Programme (SEP) is a collaborative partnership between Sport Singapore (SportSG) and the Ministry of Education (MOE). Schools eligible for SEP are Primary, Secondary, Junior College, Centralised Institution and Special Education Schools.
